Crack that whip!

Gotta love the rides where you get to torture friends. Brian and I dragged Pinkerton on the loop of doom off to the south of Golden Gate Canyon. It is a route we have both ridden once before, enough to know what pain was hiding around each bend in the road as well as the lovely views and whatnot. I forgot or blocked out a couple of the sections on the dirt just beyond Robinson Hill Road and there were a few spots where we all thought we were at the top only to find another short, steep pitch in front of us. Joey said he wanted to ride with me this winter, I wonder if he'll take that back any time soon.

House work continued this weekend with cabinet painting a-plenty. We did take the opportunity to be lazy on Sunday though. Somebody has to hold the couch down right?

I leave tomorrow for Thanksgiving on Kiawah Island with the majority of the fam. Keely has to work and can't join until Thursday, but she gets there right in time for the good part, the eating. Over the past couple years we have strayed from trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner in a rented house with appliances neither reliable nor familiar. This year we'll be going into Charleston to High Cotton and let them do the cooking. The only problem will be deciding what to eat . . . here's the menu.

Dempsey will spend Thanksgiving with Coach Kendall, although not a paying client, I expect results!

You get what you pay for!
